Customer Service Officer - Auckland Based

Our client is seeking a diligent individual who is eager for growth and development within the company, a team-player, with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys pitching in and helping where needed and someone with a can-do attitude.
  
This role is for 40 hours per week, 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. This will be based full-time in the office.
  
 
 Representative Activities:
  
  • Manage incoming telephone calls, providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
  • Handle daily banking tasks, including reviewing bank statements and managing cash sale payments for the branch.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivables and debt collection.
  • Process jobs through various systems
  • File and maintain necessary paperwork.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Set up new accounts for contractors and process pay-outs.
  • Process all outside purchases, both stock and non-stock.
  • Provide backup support for processing stock receipts and inter-store transfers.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Prepare and manage invoices.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop and warehouse.
  • Prepare monthly figures for branch and contractors.
  • Provide Monthly Sales to management.
  • Assist with inventory management and shop stock-takes.
  • Manage shop consumables, including stationery and canteen supplies.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors as needed.
  
Skills/ Qualifications / Education
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Degree in a related field
  • Must be computer literate
  • Demonstrates skills in negotiation
  • Capable of working independently, efficiently organising daily tasks, and achieving position objectives within established timeframes
  • Certificate in Quality Internal Auditing would be an advantage but not essential
