Office Administrator

We are currently recruiting an Office Administrator for a locally owned, Rotorua based private forestry company, specialising in harvesting and marketing management for a number of forestry clients in the CNI region.   This is a great opportunity to join a team who specialise in managing a range of contractors harvesting private forests and woodlots.  

The role of Office Administrator, offering support to the Finance Accountant, Finance Manager and Company Directors, is diverse and varied. This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, ideally suited to a professional with forestry industry experience being a real advantage. You will be methodical, extremely accurate and pay great attention to detail. 

Key aspects of the role: 
  • Reconciliation of forestry docket system
  • Uploading log export data
  • Liaising with cartage operators, export operators, sales customers etc
  • Supplier invoice reconciliations
  • General administrative/reception functions
  • Assisting with accounts as required by the Financial Accountant
