As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance of the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager, this role provides organisation-wide leadership across delivery, contracts, compliance, reporting, and operational systems.
Acting as the organisation's central point of operational accountability, you will ensure programmes, contracts, and strategic priorities are delivered in a coordinated, compliant, and sustainable way, enabling the General Manager to focus on external leadership, relationships, and system influence.

- Ensure operational practices align with kaupapa Māori values and organisational expectations

You are an experienced operational leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys creating clarity, structure, and performance across multiple workstreams.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in senior operations, delivery, programme, or organisational leadership roles
- Proven experience leading organisation-wide performance and accountability
- Strong experience managing government contracts, funding agreements, and reporting requirements
- Experience designing and implementing operational systems and business processes
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders, providers, and delivery functions
- Experience in Māori health, iwi, or kaupapa Māori environments will be highly regarded
- Experience supporting Board governance and working within publicly funded environments will be an advantage
- Some Te Reo Māori capability and confidence operating within a te ao Māori environment, alongside a commitment to te reo me ōna tikanga
