Recruitment Specialist - Rotorua

A regional focus with a national reach – we assist both employers and candidates to find that essential ‘balance’ in their team, career and life.

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join our team. Our values are based around the provision of knowledgeable advice, achieving exceptional outcomes for our clients and candidates, and that we are genuine and caring in all of our interactions.

We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working professional, who is results driven. This is a contract role which means you have loads of flexibility around how and when you work.  Our office is based in Rotorua, however we work all around the Bay of Plenty and nationwide as needed.

In an ever-changing environment, we need someone who has a strong work ethic and can manage their own time effectively, juggling multiple tasks at once, with fantastic communication (written and verbal), organisational and time-management skills.  Ultimately you need to enjoy working and interacting with people from a variety of backgrounds within a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintain accurate client and candidate files and records
  • Preparation of employment documentation which meets legislative requirements, including our critical compliance process
  • Interviewing and screening and placement of candidates
  • Provision of sound recruitment advice to clients
  • Building and maintaining of key candidate and client relationships
Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification, and/or previous recruitment experience would also be ideal.  However, great recruiters come from a variety of backgrounds, so we have open minds as to who may be the right person to join and support our team.

You’ll need to have exceptional administrative skills, with the ability to work towards specific timeframes.  Interviewing is also a large part of the role, therefore someone who has the ability to confidently assess candidates, keep accurate records, and provide a confidential service is imperative.
