Ko wai tātou | Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their professional team on a permanent, full-time basis. Within this role you will be responsible for assigned client bookkeeping, reporting, reviewing along with helping client with other financial needs. You’ll also assist with workflow management for the bookkeeping team and provide training and development to both client and team members as required. This dynamic role encompasses traditional bookkeeping duties, client training and empowerment and leadership aspects. You'll be instrumental in maintaining financial accuracy while fostering client independence and developing team expertise in this evolving practice environment.
Tohu me te wheako | Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree qualification preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in a CA environment or within a similar role required
- Advanced knowledge of Xero, Payroll systems, Microsoft Office Suite and other financial management systems
- Knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous
- Understanding of tikanga me te reo māori, and/or commitment to further develop or learn
