UHT Sampling & Testing - Taupo
Our Taupo Based Client is a dairy manufacturer who is one of only two in the world powered by geothermal energy and processes 300 million litres of milk annually. We are searching for a Sampling and Testing Temp on their behalf to join their high performing Quality Assurance team – starting ASAP
The Sampling and Testing Temp will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the UHT shelf-life retention library.
- Carrying out UHT milk, FMC, Frozen Cream and Milk Powder inhouse testing.
- Sampling and dispatching of samples to their external lab.
- Sorting out FMC and Powder retention samples.
- Organising customer samples when required.
- Administrative tasks associated with sampling and testing and to support the Quality team.
- Any other additional tasks to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the sampling rooms.
- Enjoy structured, methodical and routine based tasks.
- Must be physically fit and be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Like a balance of practical, hands-on and administrative work.
- Are health & safety conscious and understand the importance of food safety and hygiene in a food manufacturing environment.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to build relationships and communicate clearly with a wide variety of people.
- Have a high attention to detail, accuracy and good time management skills.
- Are motivated and have a can-do attitude.
