Replacing concrete and smog with nature and fresh air to raise the kids amongst was a catalyst for Paul Cousins relocating from Auckland. Wanting to stay in easy distance of the big smoke was also important.

“My wife and I have always wanted to raise kids in a rural setting, being that we are both from small towns ourselves. So with the pending baby en-route, we figured we needed to throw ourselves at the most beautiful place we could find but still be close to Auckland – Tauranga was a no-brainer.”

Having a fantastic job in Auckland working for a fortune 100 company, as well as running an on online business selling action cameras, career progression was a careful consideration for Paul.
