We are now searching for an exceptional person to lead the Rotorua group of businesses. This is a critical leadership role and the successful candidate will have solid retail management, leadership and experience in leading teams to high performance.
The overall purpose of this role is to closely support senior management to deliver the operational management and financial outcomes of the business, which includes accountability for front and back of house functions ensuring a consistent and seamless approach to customer service across all shifts. The role will build capacity and efficiencies throughout all operations of the business through the provision of human resource leadership, effective systems and processes, and implementation of growth and workflow strategies.
The key functional responsibilities of this role include;
- Supporting the company to achieve strategic goals within the business group
- Workflow management – productivity
- Overseeing the customer experience
- Training and retention of staff
- Sales and profit growth
- Auditing of operational functions
- Health & safety
- Fostering a collaborative and cohesive culture
The successful candidate will have a proven track-record within a similar multi-site role – a retail background would be advantageous, along with proven track record of strong leadership and people development and management. You will be a friendly and practical person, with excellent planning skills, calm under pressure, with the ability to relate exceptionally well to all key stakeholders. A bit of resilience is also required – this is a busy and challenging role and we are seeking someone who is engaged in both the diversity and growth of the business. Excellent computer literacy along with an understanding reporting functions are required. Efficient time management, problem solving logic and analytical skills are key requirements. This is a five day per week role, and does include one weekend day of work.
