Office Manager

Our client has an enviable reputation within the marine industry as a manufacturer of quality boats, along with providing support to clients through the sale of second-hand boats and providing repairs and maintenance services. They now seek a key person for a sole charge office management role.

This role will be accountable for the finance, purchasing and administrative functions of the business, ensuring that all aspects run efficiently and effectively.  This role would suit a highly experienced person who demonstrates initiative, maturity, excellent organisational and time management skills along with proven commercial and financial nous.  An outgoing, bubbly and positive attitude will make you our ideal candidate.
  
 Key functions of the role include:
  
  • Processing of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, invoicing and payroll
  • Compilation of Financial and Operational Reports
  • General ledger through to pre-tax stage accounts
  • GST, PAYE, etc
  • Payroll
  • Purchasing and receipting of stock
  • Customer service, phone and email enquiries
  • Assist and support the Sales team, including front line sales
  • General administrative functions
Reporting directly to the Manager we are looking for someone who has the following attributes:  
  • A bubbly, enthusiastic, customer orientated individual
  • Previous relevant experience within a similar role, with a high level of accounts and administrative competency
  • Experience using Attache and IMS payroll would be beneficial
  • Excellent computer literacy across the Microsoft suite of applications
  • Ability to achieve efficiencies by streamlining systems and processes
  • Taking initiative, self-motivated and interested in the product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication  
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to come on board with this small, friendly team. The successful candidate will have a proven background, particularly with accounting functions. You’ll also have a methodical and detail focussed approach to your work, along with a high level of accuracy.  You’ll be able to think on your feet, be a proactive trouble-shooter with a strong ethos of customer service. A positive and bubbly attitude are a must! This is a full time, permanent role.
